A new Dragon

Yesterdays dragon lamp was a hundred years old, this one is only a couple of years old. It is right next to the Copper Tower I've shown in a previous post and is lighting a parking lot. It was designed by Dutch architect Adrian Geuze, who actually was inspired by Vilhelm Dahlerup's Dragon Lamps. When I saw it, I really felt stared at! So yes, they do know how to make fine details today too.

  8. These are absolutely delightful! Never seen anything like it. Could you please send a note to Ocala's city fathers to tell them they could do a better job with their city lights? ;-)

  10. Sorry about my tardiness on answering all of your nice comments, but my work have kept me extremely busy lately, and it looks like it will be like this for some weeks to come. Don't worry, I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I'll try to visit all of your fine blogs too as time permits:-)

Trust me, this is a dragon, but maybe I have to visit it one night to show the "fire" from its mouth. It's on the to-do-list:-)

Thanks to all for your nice comments.
