Unicorn
This unicorn decorates an apothecary at Christianshavns Torv (Christianshavn's Square). This kind of figurines or stone carvings are seen on many of the older buildings in Copenhagen, though often not as elaborate as this one.

You are right, this is a quite elaborate thing for a corner figurine. Really a good unicorn.
ReplyDeleteI like it, beautiful figurine:)
ReplyDeleteLovely details — the hair and horn are exceptional! But he doesn't look very happy, does he? Think you can find him a virgin to keep him company? ;D
ReplyDeleteThis is extraordinary! Look at his eyes...he almost looks human...
ReplyDeleteGreat image. The juxtaposition of that unicorn with the cranes (with horns of their own) in the deep background really turns this into a photograph that asks viewers to look and think.
ReplyDeleteWonderful unicorn lots of childhood stories come flooding back
