It shouldn't come as a surprise for readers of this blog that autumn is my favourite season. The colours are plenty and the weather in Denmark changes almost by the minute, with sun like this one minute and drizzle the next. Rosenborg Castle in Kongens Have is a renaissance castle built by King Christian IV, or rather planned, ordered and paid by him, in 1606 as a country summer cottage. Inside is the Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia along with the Royal Collection.

Misty Castle
When out and about in my own town of Copenhagen, I naturally wander past the same settings all through the year. I then notice how much they change with the seasons, like this mist covered Rosenborg Castle in Kongens Have (the King's Garden).
