Take the train

If you're to tired to move around the inner city of Copenhagen why not take the train? This one is with a guide and will take you on a round trip through the old city starting from Rådhuspladsen (City Hall Square). I suspect that it is best to use it in the summer months as Denmark can be a bit chilly at other times.

The little opportunist

This little dachshund (gravhund in Danish) certainly knows who to charm to get a little extra food. It made me smile to see it "sneeking" behind the restaurant staff memebr when he went to the stores.

The photo was taken near the parliament building on Gammel Strand. This used to be where fish was sold and the area is under construction at the moment - as it seems most the rest of Copenhagen too - but the restaurants and coffee shops still operate.

Enjoying the last rays of sunshine

From Gammel Strand and Nyhavn, every day of the year, one can catch a canal and harbour tour. These tourists are enjoying one of the last days of summer to explore Copenhagen by water. The tour takes you through the old and the new parts of Copenhagen. This photograph was taken near Knippelsbro.
