Another statue in the Glyptotek Garden is this one, Maternity by Constantin Meunier, a Belgian sculptor and painter, who made this bronze group in 1893. The Glyptotek in Copenhagen has one of the most important collections of Meunier's works outside of Belgium, as brewer Carl Jacobsen, the founder of the museum, bought some 50 works from 1902 and onwards.
