Not all details in the city can be called beautiful. Some of the details, like these chimneys in a backyard, could have been done more elegantly, but out of sight, out of mind seems to be the order of the day here.
Chimneys are some of the most common things on buildings and I don't know how they could be made more interesting. These are pretty interesting, for what they are. Cheers.

I don't think I would have identified them as chimneys at all if you didn't say anything. Kitchen exhausts, maybe.
