A new day

When the sunrise look like this, it's actually a joy going to work in the morning.

Season for mist and dew

Late summer is the season in Denmark for morning mist and heavy dew. And what better place to enjoy this than in one of Copenhagen's many parks? This one I captured in my local park, Valbyparken, on the way to work. With the OlloClip macro lens on the iPhone and a bit of editing in tadaa, I think it came out pretty good.

Misty Morning

When the world is blurred by morning mist and the sky is flaming from the rising sun, it's time to isolate details in the landscape, like this otherwise anonymous tree in Valbyparken.

Breakfast in the forrest

In Dyrehaven north of Copenhagen this roe-deer was a bit surprised to be interrupted in the breakfast by a clicking sound.

Misty

My series of posts of autumn starts a misty Sunday morning at daybreak at one of my favourite places; the former Royal hunting ground of Dyrehaven just north of Copenhagen. This is a time and place for some real peace and quiet as the forest wakes up to greet the day. The mist this morning creates shapes and movement that makes this seem almost like a fairytale.

After the rain

Go out after it's rained and find some puddles to capture reflections in. That can often give some interesting images. I like this one for its somber mood and low light. I took it early in the morning in the Valby Park near my home, actually in the hope of getting some foggy photos instead, but the meteorologists wasn't right this morning. Are they ever? :-)
