It's allowed

Denmark is a society tightly regulated by rules and regulations. So sometimes it's easier to tell what is allowed instead of what isn't. Usually loose dogs are not allowed whether on the streets or in the parks (which is ignored by many dog owners), but in some parks there's an area where you can let your dog loose to play. Just please remember to pick up anything they might otherwise leave around for others to step in.

  1. Well, we have too many rules and regulations if you ask me. There are many things which falls into the private sphere or where people must choose themselves which is governed in some way. We forget that life is something you contribute to yourself ... and not something that is paved for you. Life is hard and painfull sometimes and it's okay to e.g. feel sad (depression is another matter, but no reason to give too many people drugs because they cannot handle that life is painfull).

Apart from that: I am a dog owner and cannot stand the fact that so many other dogowners cannot pick up after their dog! You must do that - otherwise you're not ready to have a dog in a city like Copenhagen.

  2. The fact that we have a lot of rules might be the reason why many people choose to ignore the ones they don't like. Littering, ignoring traffic rules and not picking up after your dog being only a few of the violations that gets me in an uproar.
