A new fairy tale
The most read Danish writer, Hans Christian Andersen, was front-page news again. An unknown fairy tale of his, The Candlestick, has been found in an archive, hidden among a lot of other papers. This fairy tale was one of a very young Hans Christian's first attempts at this genre and it's not even close to being his best. Nonetheless the news went around the world, showing just how popular he still is.

I bike past that momument almost daily. It's always being photographed by someone - doesn't matter how the weather is.
ReplyDeleteSometimes people are lining up to climb the status and take loads of photos. People photograph each other a lot there :)
By the way - in case you're using Instagram, read this about copyrights to any photos posted there: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-57559710-38/instagram-says-it-now-has-the-right-to-sell-your-photos/
ReplyDeleteAnd today ... the same scene :) A tourist with a large Nikon SLR was shooting away!
ReplyDeleteWell, it can take some time to get a photo of old HC without tourists on, especially in the summer. This time it only took about ten minutes:-)
ReplyDeleteyeah, but maybe you should concentrate on the photographs and photograph them! That can give a couple of intersting people portraits.
ReplyDeleteHave a few of those already but how many can one take of tourists posing there?
