In Budapest there's a lot of nice old buildings and quite a lot of new ones as well. As everywhere else the trick is to get the new not to clash too much with the old. Most of the times this has worked well enough in the city centre as here where the Kempinsky Hotel seemed at ease with the old lampposts.
