Digging up the city

This autumn has seen the city of Copenhagen being dug up in a great many places. A new metro line is being constructed, so streets and squares has been closed down and work has begun to change the layout of pipes and sewers. Don't count on an easy way through the Copenhagen traffic the next few years, as some streets will be closed off until 2017. On this photo it's the central square, Kongens Nytorv, that is under excavation under an autumn sun.
