This is not a stork

In Denmark the stork has been all but extinct for many years with only the occasional pair breeding here. But the image of the stork's nests on the roof of the farm, is still firmly rooted in the Danes traditional views of how a real farmhouse should look. At Egeskov Castle they obviously want to keep with the tradition, so without a real live stork, this one of plastic nests on one of the buildings.

Curious?

The stork on today's photo seems to look at me as if it's curious. As a matter of fact it was looking downwards after food, and I was just lucky to capture this funny expression.

Chicken on the menu

The storks in Copenhagen Zoo often have chickens on the menu. It did chock some of the watching mothers (but not their kids) that animals actually eat each other.
