A place in the sun

The tigers in the Copenhagen Zoo are Siberian tigers so they don't mind a bit of Danish winter, but they still like the sun when it's available. To catch some of those rare rays of sun this tiger has climbed the tree to get up into the sun.

The Amur tigers in Copenhagen Zoo enjoys the arctic weather we've got here the last few weeks. This one didn't have trouble getting up in the tree but, being a true cat, the way down was a bit more troubled as the ice was prominent.

Go away, I'm sleeping!

Yesterday morning quite a lot of people probably was like this when woken up prematurely. The tigers in the Copenhagen Zoo sure didn't like to be interrupted a few weeks ago when I disturbed their beauty sleep.

Wanted: Pool guy

The tigers in the Copenhagen Zoo have a nice enclosure with both places to lick sun and places to jump. And they've even got a pool, except it seems to pool guy doesn't visit very often. The tigers don't seem to mind, though.

Just watch it, shorty!

There is a very active Land Rover community in Denmark and the Series forum invited me to Knuthenborg Safaripark park a while back. Knuthenborg is northern Europe’s biggest safari park, with totally unique things to see and do for both children and adults. They have, to name but a few, Siberian tigers, camels, deer, lemurs, antelopes, ostriches and zebras. All of these you can come to very close. Funnily enough everyone stays away from the rhinoceros family! -RS
