Competition

These two water fowls, a little grebe and a coot seems to eye each other as they both seek food in a pond.

Ducklings?

No, these aren't ducklings as I first thought when I spotted them, but small grebes looking for food under the ice floes of Copenhagen Harbour. As many other of the birds I've encountered these weren't too happy about the guy with the camera.
