Very beautiful!! You have a very good eye!
ReplyDeleteI really like the sky in the windows. A bit too much black in the overall photo?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments.
ReplyDelete@Vogon Poet: It is a tad on the dark side, but that's what I aimed for. The theater is a very dark building (black actually), and I wanted to convey that fealing :-)
you have some stunning photos on your site. I have signed up as a follower and look forward to more great photos. you really have a good eye and technique. thanks for stopping by my site
ReplyDeleteDid you crop the photo a bit? Now it seems more effective and, sorry, I missed that the building itself was black...
ReplyDelete@Vogon Poet: No, it's right out of camera, so no crop and no fiddling with the lightness. And BTW criticism is always welcome. It's the only way to learn, and I'm still learning :-)
ReplyDelete@Julie: Thanks for the praise, and the same about your photos. Even though I haven't commented yet (I will) I've enjoyed your site. Actually I've put it on my blog list.
This really works well in b+w . . . what an interesting structure and perspective you gave us. I would definitely go back there and see how the light plays on it.
ReplyDeletethis photo is really nice!
